Feb Edition: 3 Creators Killin' it in Wales

For years, the "influencer" tag has been associated with polished-to-perfection feeds and "ad" captions that feel like they were written by a committee, but we’re seeing a shift from looking perfect to being resonant. As we’ve been vetting creators for our directory this month, we haven’t been looking at follower counts, we’ve been looking for content that makes people stop, save, and actually feel something.

Here are the three creators who, for us, set the standard this February.

  1. Katie Saves @katiesaves

Radical transparency is hard. It’s vulnerable. But for @katiesaves, it’s her superpower. Katie has done something incredible. She’s made the "un-glamorous" parts of life e.g. budgeting, smart spending, and realistic home styling, look absolutely chic.

Why she matters for brands: Katie owns what we call the 'trust economy.' When she recommends a product or a life-hack, her audience doesn't question it, because she’s spent years building a foundation of honesty. For finance, retail, or home brands, Katie isn't just a "placement", she’s a trusted advisor sitting at the kitchen table with her followers. That kind of influence is rare.

  1. Llio Angharad (@llioangharad)

There’s a specific kind of magic in how @llioangharad captures Wales. When we look at her work, we're not just seeing a hotel room in Llandudno, we're feeling the mist on the window and the quality of the linen.

Why she matters for brands: In a world of fast-paced, loud reels, Llio is the "slow cinema" of social media. She proves that luxury isn't about being flashy, it's about being intentional. For any hospitality or lifestyle brand, Llio is the blueprint for how to build high-end desire without ever sounding like a salesperson.

  1. Luke Davies (lukedavies_presents)

Wales is a nation of storytellers, and @lukedavies_presents is the modern iteration of that legacy. What we love about Luke’s content is that it’s high-energy but deeply rooted. He makes Welsh culture, language, and heritage feel like the most exciting thing on your feed.

Why he matters for brands: Luke is the bridge between "traditional Wales" and "modern content." He proves that you can be educational, cultural, and incredibly entertaining all at once. For any brand that wants to align with authentic Welsh identity, Luke is the gold standard for how to do it with energy and edge.

The reason these three are on our shortlist isn’t because they’re "popular." It’s because they’re real. They understand that in 2026, the audience can smell a script a mile away (especially with the rise in the use of AI).

At the Welsh Influencer Hub, our job is to find these needles in the haystack, and get them in front of the brands that deserve them.
